Job Description

Intern helps brainstorm, report and write news and feature content for several annual magazines and websites covering individual colleges at Marquette; innovation and research at the university; and Marquette’s community partnerships. Whatever their format or medium, these vehicles emphasize vibrant and engaging storytelling to help readers better understand what makes Marquette and its college distinctive; the progress underway on strategic plans and priorities; and the work of leadership, faculty, staff, students and alumni to realize the university’s mission of excellence, faith, leadership and service.

Qualifications

Creativity, strong writing and interviewing skills, and attention to detail are key. Experience with AP style, journalistic writing, blogging or other forms of web storytelling and PhotoShop is helpful.
